I am thankful for Matt Berninger. And Tom Waits.

I am thankful for the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am also thankful for family, mountains, outdoors, beer, and beards. Love you. I hope I win a photo. It would really spice up my apartment. Then I will be thankful for you. But until then…
-
I’m thankful that all of my American documentation came in, and now I am legally American so I can work in this country, and hopefully turn my photo career into something amazing for myself, and also for others.

I’m thankful that I met my kindred spirit/best friend Sanga Kunwar in Nepal this summer. I’m also thankful for Jesus, pomegranate and for being Persian.
-
I’m thankful for God and the greatest gift that He’s given us, His son Jesus. I’m also thankful for family, friends, food and photography
-
I am thankful for my soul mate Matt. He makes me smile even when I am at my lowest. I am not sure if he will ever know how much I truly appreciate him.
-
My daughter and wife, mountains, music, and chocolate chip cookies.
-
I am thankful for the opportunity to be at college, to live in a community of creative people that love the Lord, and to have a family that praises God in every situation. I am blessed to have had 19 years with the world’s best dad and I know that he is rubbing elbows with Jesus.
-
I am thankful for what this season means for me. I may be jealous of all the blogs I see everyday posting pictures of changing leaves, snow and fireplaces, but what I’ve got is just as magical. Summer Christmas in Australia – the beach, fresh fruit and seafood, and lightning storms.
-
I am thankful for the people in my life who see me at my worst and during those times remember me at my best. Shalom.
-
I am thankful for good friends who, even after not seeing each other in a while, remember you and care enough about you to send sweet text messages wishing them a happy DavidBowie-inspired Thanksgiving!
-
I’m thankful that I don’t have a Twilight wife!
-
I am thankful for my wonderful family, loving boyfriend, and amazing friends. I am so blessed. Cats, green tea, slushies, and snuggling are also on that list. I’m also thankful you exist! I wouldn’t be as inspired. Your work is beautiful.
-
I’m thankful for the opportunity to have lived in Nepal. It’s a beautiful place that changed me from the inside out!
-
I’m thankful for an incredible community of believers in Christ Jesus and His redemptive love. I am thankful for so many memories surrounding these people. I’m thankful for joy that results in endless laughter. M**my! Happy Thanksgiving, Allee!
-
I am thankful for Christ’s redemptive sacrifice and for the knowledge of His awesome riches, for the joy of human love and the wonder of each hour, and for sorrows and joys that remind me that He is the source for all things good—specifically epic music, long runs, laughter, apple pie, overseas travel, kindred spirits, and family.

I am thankful for my family and close friends. I have been blessed to have such amazing people and influences in my life!

I’m thankful that I have the opportunity to care for my 89 year old gran. She isn’t well and doesn’t receive the care she receives in the care home she lives in. Although I live a different country, 9 hours travel away, for the past 2 years I have been able to save money and visit/care for her for a week every 3 months. Although this doesn’t sound much, I can see the joy these shorts visits give her. And I am truely gratefull that I can add some joy to this stage in her life.

I am thankful for a Lord who’s plans for us are so thought out that we don’t always understand them until a year or two later. 2 years ago the Lord asked me to leave a beautiful place called Bear Trap Ranch to go back to Michigan and i didn’t understand why I had to leave but obeyed and came back home. Today I words can’t describe how thankful I am that he moved me back here. This year has probably been the toughest one yet on my family. It starts with my mom falling and shattering her wrist, dad loosing his job, to finding out in July that mom has breast cancer. The Lord new I wouldn’t be able to handle this all out in Colorado and on top of this BTR closed there doors. I am so Thankful to have been blessed to be home and see how God has been with my family from start to finish. Dad bought a shop, Mom just had her last treatment and BTR is looking at being open by another wonderful Christian organization. And I am blessed by wonderful Family and Friends who supported us with so many prayers. God is so AMAZING!!!!!!!

So thankful that God provides for my true desires in round about ways! Never thought I’d actually get to stay at home with my little one, never thought I’d really get to be an artist….The challenge is to take all those blessings and give them back to Him!
also thankful that black friday does not appeal to me in any way!

Who isn’t thankful for CHANGE? In my life i have seen the progress that my own life has made and the steps i have managed to take to become a better person. If i never changed, or those around me never changed, there would be no “next step” in life. We would never learn to be the best we could be and enjoy our life to the fullest. Who would want to live without CHANGE?
-
I’m thankful for family, friends, good food, photos and moments, poems and words and thoughts, great art, simple days, and traditions.
-
I’m thankful that I have an arm like a friggen cannon. I’m the one who has the ball. I’m the one who can throw it faster than Chuck.
-
I’m thankful for the rain. It is the smell, the sound and the feeling that takes me into thousands of memories of my life. I woke up this morning to it and lost myself in the rush of all of the memories flooding back. I remembered God’s provision while i stood hand in hand with some beautiful women in Africa, his truth as I sat in wait at an airport in Qatar, and the many mornings I have spent in my beautiful Arkansas.
-
I’m thankful that I am able to see so much beauty in the world through the eyes of others.
-
I am thankful for Stretch Armstrong, for the Bearded Lady, and for their mutant-freak children, the Beardstrongs.
-
I’m thankful for everything Clayton said. Plus pecan pie and women.
-
I am so thankful for the really gigantic prints i might get from these awesome set of Nepal taken by Alec!
-
I am thankful for having all the basic necessities. The Lord has blessed our family with all that we need and more which I realize not everyone is blessed with. Health, food, friends, and shelter. They seem so little, but life would be much more difficult without them.
-
Thankful for: Matt, family, kitties, friends, sleeping in, good food, my health, coffee, the Olympics, apple cider, the holiday season, laughter, family and friends x2, tights, color, travel, my job, football, dog shows
, music, television, sunshine, snow, oranges, apples, hot showers, a roof over my head, beautiful photos, inspiring blogs, the silly kitties, and once again Matt! -
I’m thankful for God’s grace and the blessings he has pored out in my life when I don’t deserve it. And my wonderful family.
-
I am thankful for forgiveness and growth.
-
i am thankful for mornings – full of the possible, and the chance to start over, to begin fresh.
i am thankful for the freedom to chase after, and discover, what i love to do.
i am thankful for a strong body, to take me anywhere, and remind me how alive i am. -
I’m thankful for Nepal and I think about it a lot these days. I’m thankful it changed my life, has given me something, or some people/children, to fight for. I’m thankful for people like Sanga, who live joy, honesty, and sacrifice out of love every day. And I’m thankful for Nepali milk tea… I have a higher respect for it than Starbucks.
-
I’m thankful for waking up this morning. Fall in Seattle with lots of rain and bright leaves. Homemade applesauce. Hours of catchphrase at Thanksgiving with the family. The simple things.
All of these images are beautiful! -
I am thankful that on Oct 11 last month my mom got a bone marrow transplant. After almost a year and a half of being so sick and not knowing if she would make it, in the last few days I feel like I have gotten my mom back. On Thanksgiving we drove around looking at Christmas lights. It was the most magical, amazing thing ever.
-
i’m thankful for each breath i take. each mistake i’ve made. each time i’ve forgiven a person when i didn’t want to. i’m thankful that one of those people was my Mom and that when she passed away six months ago we were the closest we’ve ever been. i’m thankful for this wonderful, tragic life i lead and the opportunity to document it through pictures for myself and for the others who ask me tell their stories.
